Mount Auburn Prep Class of 2026 Graduates 14 Seniors, Six Becoming First in Their Families to Head to College

As the sun set over Cincinnati on Thursday evening, more than 160 family members, friends, and community supporters gathered outdoors to witness something remarkable: the Mount Auburn Preparatory Academy Class of 2026 stepping across the stage and into the next chapter of their lives.

Fifteen seniors earned their diplomas this year — each one a story of determination, growth, and community.

  • 15 Graduates
  • 100% College acceptances received
  • 2 Associate degrees earned before graduation
  • 1,680 Community service hours

College & Career Pathways

This class is headed in many directions — and every one of them counts. Two graduates are headed to two-year colleges, two to four-year universities, six entering the workforce full-time, one joining the military, and others exploring additional verified pathways. All six graduates who applied to college received at least one acceptance offer.

Impressively, two members of the Class of 2026 earned associate degrees before crossing the graduation stage — a testament to their drive and the dual enrollment opportunities available through the school.

Six of this year’s graduates will be the first in their families to earn a college degree — a milestone that extends far beyond the individual.

Access & Equity

Six graduates are first-generation high school graduates, and six are poised to become first-generation college students in their families. One graduate entered high school below grade level and still made it to the finish line. These numbers aren’t just statistics — they represent entire family histories being rewritten.

Giving Back

Before any of them accepted a diploma, this class gave back. Graduates collectively logged 1,680 hours of community service — an average of more than 100 hours per graduating senior. That commitment to their community defines the Mount Auburn spirit as much as any academic achievement.

Congratulations, Class of 2026. Cincinnati is proud of you.
